Data Analyst

The Data Analyst supports the R&D digital transformation requirements, technology design and implementation, and adoption of digital transformation initiatives; develops system/operational guidelines to address gaps and requirements through digital applications/process automation to reduce work redundancy/waste; supports farming operation and leadership team to make smarter decisions through better processes to ultimately achieve overall organizational goals.

The significant scope of this role includes:

Support variety development and research technology teams with insights gained from analyzing research and field dataMine and analyze data from existing databases to drive optimization and improvement of processes and business strategies.Identify gaps from existing processes and design appropriate digital tools to increase efficiency/productivityPropose new and interactive ways of presenting data - infographics, maps, geolocalisation - possibility of integrating with other secondary data (weather data)Support R&D in enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems in collaboration with ICTConduct analysis and present results in a clear mannerLiaise with ICT Team in troubleshooting computer-related technical issues to support R&D requirementsSupport Phenome utilization and implementation of other digital tools by assisting in organizing training/refresher courses as needed
