JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare solutions by weighing ingredients and dissolving and diluting substancesAnalyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine their compositionConduct qualitative and quantitative experiments taking into account the volume and structure of ingredientsCustomize formulas and use different reagents to test chemical reactionsWrite technical reports of the test resultsDevelop nonstandard tests for chemical productsMaintain lab equipment and troubleshoot or report on malfunctionsRefine chemical products to improve their qualityEnsure compliance with laboratory health and safety guidelinesSterilize equipment and store materials in secure places

Our company is one of the largest and fast growing industries in the country. Manufacturing and importing of chemicals is our business line, with products that is superior in qality,  the company gained trust from various corporations from different fields. Currently we are serving big names in the chemical, food processing, agriculture, and fragrance Industries. History Three decades ago, twenty kilometers east of Manila in Barrio Santolan, Pasig, amongst vast areas of rice rustry galvanized sheets. This was the humble beginning of HIMMEL INDUSTRIES, INC. On hindsight, HIMMEL, a German word for sky or heaven, is prophetic as witnessed by the meteoric rise of its founder, DR. LUCIO TAN, to the top of the business world. At the start, flavoring compounds and aromas were manufactured. The firm's activities later on expanded to include trading in various industrial chemicals. A year after its inception, Himmel procurred an old glycerine plant which, by present standard, was as good as scrap. Undaunted by the limitations of equipment and resources, continuous tinkering with the machine for two years resulted in the production of the only USP grade refined glycerine in the country. The plant continuously supplied the needs of the local pharmaceuticals industry for fifteen years before the demand caught up with its capacity. As a result a new continuous refined glycerine plant was erected in 1977. Under the able leadership of MR. DOMINGO CHUA, refined glycerine was exported to Asian countries and the United States. In the mid-sixties, menthol crystal production was added followed by the fabrication of steel drums. By early eighties, we added an aromatic division compounding flavours and fragrances. Also, manufacturing of printing inks is included. Then, we build 14 shore tanks handling liquid bulk cargoes with a total capacity of 11.5 million liters in Pinamukan, Batangas which is 120kms. south of Manila. This terminal is connected includes drumming and mixing facilities is connected to our own pier to service 25,000 DWT vessels. At present, we supply to almost all industries such as paper, glue, food, pharmaceutical, paint, ink, plastic, printing, rubber, PVC, cement, textile, tobacco, bear, etc. Presently, our group consists of Fortune Tobacco Corp.; Foremost Farms, Inc.; Asia Brewery Inc.; Allied Banking Corp.; Tanduay Distillers Inc.; Paragon Electronic Corp.; Grandspan Development Corp. were among the prestigious name in Philippine business.
