Senior R&D Chemist - PVC Pipes

Job DescriptionDevelop the optimal PVC formulationQualify new raw materialsInvestigate and solve quality defectsPerform dimensional and physical test requirements for PVC pipes.Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials, in-process inspections, and outgoing of finished goodsMonitor and conduct verification of the inspection result of the in-process output and spearhead line monitoring to improve quality.Conduct necessary QC testing to ensure quality standards are met from the raw materials up to finished goods.Control nonconforming items.Ensure test equipment used is calibrated and in good conditionSupport quality system implementationMaintains frequent coordination with line inspectors to verify the conformity rate and quality level of the production outputGenerates reports and conducts data analysis of the overall inspection resultPerform other tasks under his/he field of competencyJob QualificationsChemistry or Chemical or Materials Engineering graduate with at least 3 years’ experience in a related field; lesser experience may be considered for Engineer/Chemist positionKnowledgeable in SPC, 8D, 5 Why Analysis, FMEA, 7 QC Tools & ISO 9000Knowledge in PVC compounding is an advantageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with great troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional team environmentExcellent organization and time-management skillsWorking knowledge of product development and manufacturing processesKnowledgeable in basic computer applications preferably Google Workspace5 day work weekWilling to be assigned in Calumpit, BulacanREWARDS:How will this career opportunity benefit you?• A conducive environment to work and grow.• Constant challenges and opportunities to prove yourself.Other benefits offered:• Employee product discounts
