Biomedical Technician

Performs tests, repairs, calibrates and maintains medical equipment. Disassembles equipment and adjusts, troubleshoots and replaces faulty and worn mechanical parts. Assures that the equipment are in compliance with the medical facilities standards and best practices. Consistently consults with the medical staff, instructing them on the operation of equipment and any issues with regard to its functionality.

Qualifications:

At least vocational course specializing in Biomedical TechnicianMinimum of 6 months related experienceSkilled on all medical equipment.

The construction of the edifice in March 2005 and was completed in December 2007. Sta. Rosa Hospital and Medical Center opened its hospital in April 1, 2008. It is a tertiary care hospital located at the heart of Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. It houses the emergency room on its first floor. Also located here is the Radiology Dept., Heart Station, Pharmacy and the Pathology Dept. Our Accounting, Billing, Marketing dept. is also here for easy access of patients and visitors to cater to their needs and queries. On its second floor, with elevator access for patients and senior citizens houses our operating rooms, ICU, NICU, PICU, Nursery, Hemodialysis and our Rehabilitation Dept. One can also find the human Resources Office and the Medical Services Offices on this floor. The 3rd floor houses the patient’s room such as the ward rooms, private rooms, suite rooms and isolation rooms.
