R&D Job

• Ensure integrity of documents

• Develops new products and responsible for product maintenance.

• Assists Manager in the conduct of training and technical service activities to ensure that customers are informed on functionality and application of Bostik products. 

New Product Development

• Test all critical parameters of product/s in order to qualify to specs during development stage 

• Assess the suitability and reactivity of every RM’s used into products being developed 

• Study every RM’s performance vs. dosage in the formulation

• Assist in establishing Technical Specifications and Manufacturing Standards for each new products.

Product Maintenance

• Qualify all RM’s for substitution c/o different suppliers

• Validate all technical data of every products for conformity to declared values 

• Study other potential RM’s will use as alternative for cost reduction

• Generate official test report to Marketing & Purchasing Departments for qualified RM/product 

• Benchmark testing of inter-company and competitors’ product

SAP & Clarity

• Initiates registration of new products for SAP master data.

• Create, modify, improve and revise BOM in SAP.

• Create product coding for all RM’s for confidentiality purpose

• Implement Clarity to various assigned R&D projects

Technical Support

• Assess formulation issues to determine the root cause and recommend solutions.

• Analyze all parameters of the product to resolve customer complaint

• Conduct site visit if necessary. Includes site’s mock-up, product testing, & other related activities

• Develop and conduct technical training for Sales & Marketing groups

• Conduct product presentation for customers in coordination with sales

Others

• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

With good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels in a confident and professional manner; strong attention to details ; analytical ,well-organized, proactive, assertive and takes a creative approach to problem solvingGraduate of Bachelor of Science, Major in Chemistrywith at least 1 year job related experience; fresh graduate are welcome to apply
