QUALIFICATION
Eligibility:
Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility (preferred)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science or any related technical/scientific field
Training:
None required
Work Experience:
Experience in food processing and sensory evaluation of food in research and development is an advantage
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have good technical knowledge in food science, statistical analysis, experimental designs and sensory evaluation of food.With good technical writing and communication skills.Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills.Must be able to work well with a team under rigid time constraints.Must be detail-oriented and teachable.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination of research activities with different collaborating agencies and local government unitsCoordination with third party laboratories and food processing facilities/service providers for the conduct of sample preparation, processing, shipment, analysis, and etc.Conduct review of related literatures needed in the studyPreparation of technical and administrative reports related to the project.Participation in the drafting of manuscript for journal publicationPerform other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or the division chief.Instructions/Remarks:
