JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for preparing and processing various data, and performing corresponding research and analysis, to generate reports relevant to the Exchange and its stakeholders.

DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES

·        Prepares economic and industry studies relevant to the development of the capital markets and the Exchange

·        Conducts market and sector studies in relation to the conduct of index reviews and sector classification updates

·        Provides information and analysis on current market issues that may be needed by the Exchange and its clients

·        Provides technical assistance in identifying and developing research initiatives for PSE activities

·        Processes relevant market data to be used in developing reports and other activities of the Exchange

·        Prepares presentations and other materials for senior management for their speaking engagements

·        Coordinates with other exchanges, advisory groups, networks and coalitions to strengthen information exchange with various market stakeholders;

·        Provides research assistance as may be required to support the needs of the Office of the President or the Management

·        Assists in the conduct of corporate planning activities including the preparation and monitoring of the Exchange’s business plan, conduct of post project evaluation activities, and performing corresponding analysis to generate reports relevant to the Exchange’s formulation of strategic plans and budgetary requirements

·        Performs ad hoc projects/tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of Finance, Economics, or any Management-related degree

Experience: Work experience is not required but 1 to 2-years of relevant experience in research in the field of finance or capital markets, or technical writing, is an advantage

Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office, proficiency in research and technical writing, critical thinking and data analysis, project management, and above average interpersonal and communication skills
