Materials Planner

Experience:

Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or equivalentAt least 3-5 years in same capacity in a multinational manufacturing / FMCG environmentWith experience in handling both imported and locally sourced packaging and raw materialsWith experience in communicating and coordinating with vendorsWith working knowledge in use of SAP – Material Management, PlanningWith experience working on HACCP, GMP and Food SafetyWilling to work in Antipolo City, Rizal

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

Responsible for materials planning and procurement of imported and local materials in line with the MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) system and ensures that these activities conform to company policies, guidelines and procedures; as well Quality & Safety and other standards of the Company;Effectively coordinates and interfaces with key customers such as Production Planner and Production for an efficient procurement flow and clarity in their requirements;Releases purchase orders for imported and local materials;Maintains appropriate material Working Capital and Days of Supply Inventory based on safety stock and target inventory level; andPrepares Working Capital Analysis and Days of Supply Inventory Report for materials on a monthly basis.
