Wastewater Engineer

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam), Mechanical, Chemical, Sanitary, Environmental Engineer or equivalent.Preferably at least 2 years experienced in handling Sewage Treatment Plant or Wastewater Treatment Facilities.Candidate must have strong communication skills both verbal and written.With strong computer skills (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Etc.)Preferably with valid driver’s licenseWilling to work in Metro Manila and/or other parts of Luzon area.Willing to undergo training for new technologies.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the development and design processes, facilities, details, and specifications using different technologies for septage and sewage.Assist in the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on all plant machines and equipment.Plan and specify new treatment plants, taking into account available technology, market needs, cost of equipment and disposal of waste substances.Carry out the design of various projects for water and wastewater treatment plant as assigned and prepare the required calculations such as process design calculations, selection as well as chemical and power consumption calculations.Prepare design criteria according to requirement, the proposal process description defining the treatment chain, the material balance diagram, process flow diagram and area plan if necessaryFacilitate the development program of Septage and/or Sewage Management ProgramsFacilitate the review of sewerage facility design and specifications.Prepare needed design computation, reports and presentation for septage and/or sewage management programs.Conduct Technical and Methodology presentations as per client requirement.Other related work needed to facilitate the progress of septage/sewerage or industrial projects.Prepare and sign all the necessary reports in connection to their operation, system and environment.
