CHEMIST (CEBU OFFICE)

Job description

· Establishes development plans and critical path to new and existing product development.

· Perform research, develop of new products, and improve existing product formulations according to the concept provided by the Top Management, Marketing, and/or Product/Business Development Head.

· Coordinate with various suppliers of raw materials – acquiring quotations and filing requisitions on the best cost and quality materials.

· Writing and/or reviewing procedures, protocols and specifications needed to support product development activities.

· Coordinate with third-party laboratories on the required analyses of finished products.

· Check and improve safety and quality control procedures from raw material stage to finished product.

· Maintain all related documents for research and development – Product Formula, Costing, Certificate of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet, Stability, Standard Operating Procedures, Laboratory Inventory, etc.

· Interact closely with marketing and consumers to research and identify critical product attributes.

Assist in the interpretation of consumer test results and providing recommendations for product improvements and claims.
