Job Summary

As a Bench Test Engineer (Characterization Engineer), you will be responsible for characterization of PCB-based gate driver solutions for industrial applications.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of laboratory infrastructure and safety especially for high voltage applicationsLab-based characterization of power electronic components (especially gate drivers) and performing various evaluationsLow and high voltage measurements of power electronic components (e.g. measurements of gate drivers with IGBT or SiC MOSFET modules)Generation of internal technical documentation and test reportsCollaboration and support with related industrial groups like Marketing, ASIC Development, Application Engineering, Operations, Quality and etc.

Qualifications

Degree in electronics engineering or related field2 years of experience in evaluations or characterization of power electronics board level components (e.g. SMPS, Gate Drivers)Experience in low-voltage and high-voltage measurement techniquesBasic knowledge of power electronic components (e.g. IGBT, MOSFET, SiC MOSFET, Gate Driver) and/or SMPSKnowledge of understanding and interpreting international standards (e.g. DIN EN and IEC)
