Package Development Engineer (Staff level)

Core ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the EOL process development, characterization, validation and qualification for new packages.Improve manufacturing techniques, introduces new processes/equipment to production.Interface with Production and other engineering and support groups to ensure the most efficient processing techniques.Develop process control on new processes developed.Identify and conduct studies on materials suitable for the package & processPerform large scale process validation and performance reviewPerform process training to the manufacturing/operations teamRequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in EngineeringWith at least 7 years of experience in EOL Process EngineeringHas background in the application of Six Sigma process methodologyStrong skills in SPC, DOE (Design of Experiments), QC Tools, Global 8D, Material Science, Technical Risk Assessment and Decision Analysis  Must also have strong interpersonal, English communication and problem solving skills and be able to work effectively in a self-directed environment2204880
