Software Test Engineer

Job Qualification:

Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any related courses.2 - 3 years’ experience as Software Test Engineer in an electronic manufacturing company.Knowledgeable with hardware design and debugging Knowledgeable of control systems and power electronics circuitryFamiliar with communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, SPI and I2CWorking knowledge in Labview and Visual Basic is necessaryHas knowledge of digital and analogue electronics (PCI, PXI, cDAQ)Understanding of MCU software programmingHas knowledge and experience with any of the following programming language: C,C++, C#, Java and Delphi is an advantageEffective oral and written communication skills to interface with customers and various departments so as to discuss findings, containment actions and improvements.

Job Description:

Responsible for the development of application specific software solutions for integration into complex Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). These ATE support the Production Acceptance testing of a wide range of SMPS, BBU, BMS and other related PCBA assemblies. 

Design, Development and Configuration of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for complex systemssub-systems, simulation, and control system environments Develops test processes for power supply and SPS products.Develop software test strategies; create software test plans. Review and analyze software requirements for completeness, lack of ambiguity, and testability. Support the Test Engineering Sustenance with strategies for obsolescence management, and identification of appropriate software tools and supporting hardware. Continuously improve software test with new software technologies and methodologies. Development of code to perform: closed loop control, data acquisition, data analysis and hardware control across a variety of hardware platforms. Support the Test Engineer Sustenance with the maintenance, upgrade and administration of software solutions on existing Test Equipment deployed across Acbel Facilities and within Customer Facilities
