Senior Transmission & Interconnection Engineer

We are looking for a Transmission & Interconnection Engineer with experience in the Transmission & Interconnection project development to join our growing Renewable Energy Team in Manila as we continue strengthening our technical team in the renewable energy space. The Senior T & I Engineer will be working collaboratively with others in the global business team to deliver high quality, value driven technical services in the renewable energy space.Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct site assessments, concept design, site audits, Factory Assessment Tests and other technical assistance required in the course of developing the transmission line and interconnection. Transmission line and interconnection planning and analysisevaluation and selection of transmission routesevaluation of Sag and Tension profilesSelection and design of tower and lattice structuresWorking knowledge of major electrical utility industry principles and practices.Desired Skills & Experiences:A graduate of Electrical engineering degree (or equivalent). Preferably licensed with an affiliation to a recognized professional institution (Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred).Proven experience in Transmission Line project development with strong collaborative culture, as well as good written and verbal presentation skills.Capable of handling complex technical project assignments and ensures the quality of work delivered meet client expectations.Typically, over 5 years of transmission line and interconnection experience in the development and execution of energy projects, with a strong technical background.Experience in undertaking feasibility studies and/or concept design transmission line and interconnection projects.Proven ability to work collaboratively with other technical disciplines and work efficiently under tight deadlines.-Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at both working and executive levels.Must be literate in using PLS CAD, Etap modelling tool. Knowledge of other T&D software is an advantage.
