Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Staff

We're looking for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Staff to join our start-up team to handle and monitor any health, safety and environment aspect of the operations.

The ideal candidate will have the experience to work with a pioneering team of one of the biggest FMCG group. He/she will be responsible for overseeing EHS programs and activities.

Job Description:

Comply with activities indicated at DAO 2014-02 released by DENR.Responsible in preparation and submission of mandated reports to DENR/LLDA/EMB BFP/DOLE and other government agenciesFormulate, layout and enforce operational procedures to support and comply all mandated EHSM policiesPrepare, organize and safekeep all documents relevant to regulations and procedureConduct orientation and training to newly hired employees, visitor and third party service providerFrequently monitor and inspect any health, safety and environmental aspect of the operations with the participation of management and workers (based on DOLE Do 198)Monitor and renew party regulatory permit, license and related documentsConduct EHS talks to workplace in a regular manner and toolbox meeting with contractorsEstablish Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control for each activityCheck and monitor performance and day to day operations of Sewage Treatment Plant/Waste Water Treatment Plant, Material Recovery Facility & CrushingAssist government inspectors in the conduct of ESH inspectionsEnsure personal protective equipment is being used in workplaces according to regulationsInvestigate, address and escalate hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues and occurrence in the workplaceMaintenance and inspection of Emergency and Fire Fighting Facilities such as but not limited to Fire Extinguisher, Fire House, Emergency and First Aid EquipmentConduct daily Gemba walkProcess request and delivered materials in SAPPerform other task deems necessary in the performance of duty as EHS Staff

Qualifications:

Candidate must be graduate of any 4 year course. Graduate of BS Environmental Science is an advantageWith at least 1 year relevant experience in an FMCG companyMust have mandatory training for Safety Officer 2 (BOSH/COSH).Proficient in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
