Sanitary Design Engineer (Site-based)

Forsspac MBR Corp is looking for a Sanitary Design Engineer (Site-based- Q.C.) 

Performance of Plumbing and Drainage Design works for assigned projects. Guiding and leading Junior Plumbing and Drainage Engineers and CAD staff from concept through to completion of Design Works ensuring delivery on time, in budget and adhering to the quality standards required to meet the needs of the Client

To ensure that the Plumbing and Drainage Systems design is fully coordinated, spatially (coordination with the 3D BIM project members) and technically, with all other related trades and compliant with applicable codes.

Must keep up to date with design technology and equipment technological developments, applying this knowledge in the execution of the projects of the company and for personal professional development. 

Key Result Areas

Plan and manage the execution of the primary responsibilities as noted aboveEnsure work is carried out in conformance with the current technical procedures / method statements, guidelines, work instructions and memoranda. Ensure all work is in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Prepare regular scheduled progress reports as requiredAttend meetings internal and external for the company as needed.  

Job Knowledge:

Master Plumber or Sanitary Engineering graduateWith at least 5 years progressive work experience in Design / Consulting FirmWith working knowledge of various international and local Plumbing and Building Codes and StandardsLicensed Master Plumber or Sanitary EngineerMust have developed working knowledge of the use and application of various design software packages with particular knowledge of environmental / sustainable design methodsAbility to work in a 3D design and production environment 

Must be willing to work on QC project site
