Sales Planning Engineer / Material Planner

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate of Industrial Engineering or any Business related coursesWith at least 1 year minimum experience in the same field.

Responsibilities:

Attends client calls, emails and meetings.Receive and acknowledge client’s purchase order, forecast and coordinate their requests, address client's concerns & inquiries.Checks forecast of products and stock allocation.Performs simulation of paints to ensure its adherence to standard ordering system of each clients.Updates clients order summary as basis for delivery monitoring of supply chain.Determines all available paints (type of paints), total sales and purchase of paints. Ensures that all consumed paints are accounted.Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure that all requested materials arrived on time based on commitment to clients.On time monitoring of product delivery to avoid shortages and inventory excesses.Checks movement of paints for the semester. Checks and monitor status of non-moving with client’s forecast and expired owned paints of clients.Ensures that Sales Invoice are properly transmitted/submitted to clients every delivery.In charge of monthly price reconciliation. Ensures that the price in the system is correct with the Sales Invoice.Prepare monthly report for such as non-moving paints, client’s forecast performance - forecast vs actual order, ageing status report and reconciliation. Performs other duties as assigned and within areas of expertise.

It was formerly known as Philippine Automotive Chemicals Manufacturing, Inc. and solely owned by Mitsubishi Corporation using the products of Kansai Paint Co., Ltd and Thai Kansai Paint Co. Ltd., as means of trading and technical services. With the collective efforts of management and associates, Kansai Paint Philippines Inc., was established in June 2002. Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. bought 70% and 30% remained as share of Mitsubishi Corporation.  October 2009, Kansai Paint Co. Ltd gains the 100% ownership of Kansai Paint Philippines Inc. KPPI sources paint products from Kansai Paint Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd., Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, and Kansai Paint Limited Corporation. The Company widened its outsourcing by using local products through its suppliers or their business partners. Kansai Paint Philippines, Inc. uses Alesco as brand name. It concentrates on the automotive, motorcycle and some industrial types of paint that ranges from water base to solvent base type and from air dry to high baking types. The produucts can be applied, depending on the design, to metal substrates like aluminum, SPCC etc; to plastic substrate like ABS, Nylon, PP, etc. The paints for metal use the names Magicron, HS-60, Elecron, Acryka, Pyrosin, Aquazol, Paints for plastic use the names like Retan and Ureall and paints for auto-refinish painting use the names like Retan and Acric EZ. In May 2017, Sales department was created to handle sales and marketing of decorative paints and protective coatings. KPPI subcribes to ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This is supported by disciplines and programs of Japanese origin such as 5S for housekeeping and horenso for communication.
