Tool Technician/Machinist

Responsible for the maintenance and fabrication of mold and jig.Sets-up and operates conventional machines (Lathe, Milling, Grinding and Surface Grinding) to execute molding related work ordersSets-up and operates CNC Machines (CNC Lathe, CNC Grinding) to execute molding related work ordersCalculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as caliper, micrometer and rough testerSelect the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work/ fabricationResponsible for set-up and maintenance of molding machines and equipmentIn-charge with the management of tools such as machine tools, cutters and other consumables being utilized at Molding SectionIn-charge person in the shifting scheduleParticipates on Molding Sections’ initiative for innovations and necessary improvements on the existing work processesParticipates on the cost reduction program initiatives of Molding SectionWorks as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues to achieve Molding Section’s targets and objectivesGuides and coach members of the Molding Section for possible assistance and help neededSupport and complies with the applicable requirements of EMS, 6S and Health and Safety.Ensures adherence to Company Policies, Code of Conduct and Discipline and other applicable rules and regulation
