Job Summary

Elevator installers and repairers, also called elevator constructors or elevator mechanics, assemble, install, maintain, and replace elevators, and similar equipment in buildings. Elevator installers and repairers usually specialize in installation, maintenance, or repair work.

Performing maintenance duties in maintaining the entire property of the common area and assist minor repairs of hotel rooms and/or private units. Preventive Maintenance Technician shall ensure all equipment and appliances are in clean, orderly and functional condition based on the 52 weeks cycle. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

GENERAL FUNCTION

Elevator Maintenance

Knowledge in elevator rescue procedure and safety procedures.Overseeing the installation of elevators, mechanical walkways, and escalators.Responding to mechanical failures and system malfunctions.Installing and testing electrical systems.Servicing and maintaining machine parts.Repairing or replacing system parts.Oiling and greasing moving parts.Carrying out safety checks.Maintaining stock and ordering supplies.Maintaining a clean working area.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Perform general skills of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring or fixtures.Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.Report any facility incident to the Property Engineer for proper guidance.Technician shall monitor all building systems and equipment in accordance with the maintenance checklist provided.Respond to all facility alarms, mechanical electrical, elevator system failures and any other incidents arising in the building.Report any Incident to the Property Engineer

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE 

Follow and perform preventive maintenance schedule based on the 52 weeks cycle or as per directives of the Property Engineer

REPORTS

Report accomplishment of task to the Property Engineer on a daily basis.

COVERED SHIFT

Performs tasks, duties and covered shifts of colleagues in their absence.

OTHER FUNCTION

Undertake other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time-
