The Compliance Specialist is responsible for the planning, facilitation, and promotion of Audit and Compliance strategies in accordance with company policies, and internal & external requirements. This role also ensures that all employees have access to relevant and appropriate company policies and processes and information security programs, non-compliance shall be corrected through constant coordination with stakeholders and process owners.
Main Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
Ensure that the business documents such as the company policy, process documents, Standard Operating Environment, and Operations Manual are reviewed and audited regularly.Plans and prepares the internal audit calendar, timelines, and activitiesPublishes the internal audit report and coordinates the audit findings with relevant stakeholders.Tracks and monitors the implementation of the corrective and preventive action items to mitigate the audit findings until the gaps are remediated.Provide support with compliance audits (whether internal or external) and ensure that identified remediation items are implemented.Help to develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program.Perform other duties assignedExercises strong team building, negotiation, decision making, problem-solving and conflict management skills to ensure delivery excellence across all teams.Initiates, recommends, and attends necessary Training to Improve Skills needed by the departmentMaintains high engagement amongst self and the team.Education and Experience
The candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in any field.Min of 1 year of experience as Compliance Officer or equivalent role.Must possess excellent oral and written English and Filipino communication skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.Highly organized; able to keep schedules and commitments.Has a keen eye for detail.Experience in Company Process documentation, related to BPO is a plus.Education and Experience
