Job Description
The person shall be for mastering, teaching, maintaining and troubleshooting the learning management system and other educational learning technologies such as LAMS, virtual classrooms, among others as well as other future initiatives. With the use of available data, as approved by the IRB and the direction of the head, the incumbent can propose and conduct research that relates to the student performance and other metrics. He/She may also propose and/or conduct research from the pool of interesting topics in medical education, as determined by the Ti-eL head.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Must master the existing technologies used for teaching such as the LMS (StEPuP powered by NeoLMS); our virtual classrooms (Zoom), anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin)
2. Learn the incoming and new technologies such as learning activities sequencer (LAMS), our Augmentation of Clinical Experiences suite (ACEs) consisting of the telemedicine platform (SeeyouDoc), virtual patient (BodyInteract), and Virtual Observation of Procedural Skills (streaming GoPro).
3. Train the Technical Associates and the Faculty with the skills to utilize and maximize the different platforms.
4. Lead in new initiatives and technologies, and be involved in new innovation projects as assigned by the immediate Head.
5. Work with the Multimedia Designer and the different departments on curating the learning resources and coordinating the upload and deletion/archiving
6. Participate and lead in new initiatives and technologies, and be involved in new innovation projects as assigned by the immediate Head.
11. Work with other members of the team, and the different departments on advancing the digitalization agenda of the college.
12. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Immediate Head.
Basic Qualifications
-The suitable applicant will have a strong background in learning management system, online teaching platforms, digital media in education and/or related educational tools.
-The applicant must also have experience in writing research and conducting scholarly investigations.
-A background in medicine/healthcare and/or education is an advantage.
