Sr. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER The Sr. Structural Engineer is responsible for the following:
Provide technical expertise in the field of Civil Engineering DesignScope, investigate, define and prepare project plans for designs and investigationsPrepare comprehensive consultant briefs for designs and investigationsManagement of the preparation of structural design plans, specifications and estimates for a range of structural design projectsMonitor project plans to ensure objectives are being satisfied and provide timely advice to the Engineering Manager on any anticipated delays affecting project commitmentsReview all design documentation prepared and ensure that it is correct to a high degree of accuracy, suitable for construction and in accordance with all relevant standards and legislation and complies with all the requirementsUndertake technical investigations and prepare reports on a range of civil design projectsProvide assistance to other Engineering design staff as required to achieve within the team a sense of harmony, effective team work, highly motivated staff and a strong customer focusSupervise, coordinate and mentor where appropriate, internal Structural Engineering design staffUndertake post construction reviews and recommend areas of improvementContribute to the long-term planning and strategies relating to the engineering projects and programs within the departmentPerform other duties or tasks that may be assigned from time to timeSr. CIVIL ENGINEER The Sr. Civil Engineer is responsible for the following:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, duly licensed preferred but not requiredMinimum of (6) years of Engineering experience, ideally in a supervisory roleStrong understanding of CAD standardsEfficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience leading design teamKnowledgeable in cost estimation and preparation of Bill of MaterialsSystems level engineering experience with a focus on designWell developed, detail oriented high level of organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work with management to set and achieve goals based on priorities of development projects and support of internal and external customers
