As a Quality Engineer in our team, you will design and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for the user-facing apps of our online and mobile banking platforms. You will build or improve existing test automation frameworks. You will prepare and maintain the test data for automation deliverables. You will help define and establish test metrics to measure not just product quality, but quality of testing. You will work with your team to perform gap analysis to ensure good automation test coverage, assess and provide proactive solutions. You and your team will investigate customer reported problems and identify root causes. You will be expected to continuously hone your skills and stay abreast of new technologies and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proficiency in software testing with focus on user-interfacesProficiency in writing UI test scripts using Gherkin and frameworks such as Jest, SeleniumProficiency in writing SQL scripts to create, update, delete, or validate test dataExperience in JAVAExperience using continuous integration and deployment toolsDemonstrable ability to break down complex problems and solve them systematicallySolid communication skills, able to articulate your thoughts to any audienceAlthough not required, experience in the following will be highly valued:
Experience in Serenity BDD or Applitools or BrowserStackExperience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS or GCPOur work environment is modern and inclusive with a strong focus on employee experience.
