Main Duties:
Responsible for analysing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application componentsPerform a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets the satisfaction of the Company and usersProvide direction, information and recommendations on network configurations and installationsResponsibilities:
Responsible for Network related incident and change managementResponsible for the commission, de-commissioning and tech refresh of network devicesFacilitate in problem solving and collaborationManage the smooth delivery of network operations in accordance with stipulated Service Level AgreementsProvide firmware updates for network devicesEnsure network infrastructure complies with security policiesPrepare and maintain assets to ensure availability and update of capacity reportsUpdate process and procedural documentsAny other ad-hoc duties as required or assignedQualifications:
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science, Business IT or its equivalentAt least 5 years of experience in administration and implementationGood knowledge of the following, but not limited to:Firewall technologies (high availability, virtual firewall concept)IP load balancerDistribution and core switchesRouter configuration (high availability)LAN and WAN administrationGood understanding of a services business in a high-tech environment from a supplier, integrator or operator’s perspectiveStrong analytical and problem solving skills, combined with ability to provide quick resolution to problemsProficient in troubleshooting skillsEffective communication skillsSelf-driven and ability to work independentlySalary negotiable depending on experience
