Handles the costing of all import and locally sourced productsMonitors daily market trends for both fuel and foreign exchange indicesInitiates the planning and recommends to management on the positions to be madeAssists in the planning for the supply needs of the Company.Coordinates with Supply Team for pricing of productsProvides insights and gives recommendations to the sales team on the profitability of each transaction to be undertakenCoordinates with the different departments to attain as a team the company’s profit objectivesInitiates problem solving and other remedial actions to mitigate force majeure situationsResponsible for setting up procedures and monitoring systems for pricing related activitiesOrganizes and executes special projects as deemed necessary for the positionEnsures compliance to company and governments HSES laws and regulationsIdentifies and recommends trainings/interventions to enhance skills for the development of the companyMeet Health Safety Environment Security and Quality (HSESQ) goals and objectives applicable to the departmentMinimizes product pricing exposures and optimize both trigger and forex pricing mechanisms in order to help company profitabilityWorks hand-in-hand with the Finance department in minimizing foreign exchange exposures in all import related transactionsMinimizes the costs involved in the procurement of stock itemsEnsures that all costs are covered in the pricing of products and supply dealsRecommends enhancements to existing operational systems through the use of statistical and analytical data management toolsEnsures prompt and accurate reporting of relevant information to management and other departments in order to aid in the decision-making processOther duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Graduate of at least 4-year college course. Preferably any engineering or business degreeComputer literate and has a working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Power Point)At least 5 years of working experience in the oil industry with good grasp of microeconomics and accounting concepts (preferably with experience in supply/trading & terminal operations)Good product knowledge of the different petroleum products – fuels, CME, ethanolExcellent communication and negotiation skillsWell versed in understanding pricing dynamics - knowledgeable in trading stocks is a plusAnalytical and Flexible
