We are looking for a part-time English online Vocabulary Tutor to conduct virtual lessons with students preparing for exams. You can work remotely but must be available during our regular English teaching hours (4PM to 10PM Japan Standard Time).
What you will work on:
Conduct daily virtual lessonsPrepare for lessons before the start of each classTeach a 30-minute one-on-one class with each studentBe prepared to accommodate the needs/questions of students during and after classWrite client-facing progress reportsCommunicate with clients regarding scheduling and class performanceQualifications:
Exceptional English communication skills both verbal and written Experience working with North American/multinational colleagues and clients is a plusExperience in teaching academic English (written, speaking, vocabulary) is a plusExperience in online teaching is a plusDegree holder is a plusProficient in Skype, Microsoft Office, and Google suites (slides, spreadsheet, docs etc,)Professional appearanceWork hours:
Must be available from 4PM - 10PM JSTBeing available for the whole day is a plus but not requiredRemote Infrastructure:
