JOB DEscriptION:
The Branch Manager is responsible for selling the products and services available in the assigned branch as well as for supervising the overall operations of the branch and other regulatory agencies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Markets the Bank’s products and services that are available in the assigned branchParticipates in the negotiation of loans for potential clients if necessary.Ensures that branch targets are consistently met.Implements in the assigned branch the standard internal control policies of the Bank.Ensures that the Branch including its records of clients and documents are secured at all times and ensures compliance with established security measures.Signs checks for bank’s disbursements within the authorized limit.Implements cost-reduction measures and is responsible for the management of costs within the branch’s allocated expense budget.Disseminates correct and complete information, policies and/or new products and services that are being communicated by the Head Office to the Branches and ensures clear understanding on the part of the branch staffAdministratively responsible for the implementation of policies, rules and regulations of the Bank at the branch level with corresponding appropriate action.Provides timely and accurate reports to Head Office on the results of operations.evaluates training needs of branch staff and recommend appropriate training programs to Human Resources Department based on identified needs. Actively Involves self in the training and development of the staff at the branch level.QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of any 4-year Business course; graduate studies are a great advantageAt least 3 years of experience in Banking Operations in a managerial capacity (if coming from other banks)At least 5 years of experience in banking operations in a supervisory capacity (if coming from within)Proficient in written and oral EnglishComputer literateHigh sense of integrity and customer service attitudeStrong people and leadership skillsTeam player, organized and systematicStrategic and self-driven, results-focused
