Merchant Sales Officer (LC)

Job Summary

Prospect, identify, meet, negotiate and establish relationships and strategic alliances with merchants to make available the merchant installment facility to the Bank’s cardholders and generate merchant installment billingsPrepare and review merchant accreditation documents, contracts and requirements in line with accreditation policiesConduct orientation and briefings with merchants on card acceptance and program detailsPrepare inter-office memos involving other units of the Bank to ensure effective implementation of marketing and business strategiesPrepare and submit call reports, merchant reports, and meeting minutesAdhere to the Bank’s internal policies as well as banking and industry regulationsPrepare payment requests within TAT for official expensesEndorse various customer communication materials, and ensure that these accurately capture agreements with merchant partnersCoordinate with team members, relevant stakeholders, other units of the Bank and external parties for the effective implementation of marketing programsPrepare and analyze merchant reports and industry trends to identify opportunitiesPrepare program proposals, program performances and productivity, and recommend appropriate action plans
