● Plans for the store's operational budget and periodically monitors the actual expenditure within the agreed budget.
● Analyzes financial and performance data and develops action plans to increase sales, improve productivity, and control
costs.
● Identifies the factors affecting the performance of the store and takes immediate appropriate actions (e.g., in staffing
allocation, the productivity of staff, discount deals for customers, and other productivity measures)
● Reviews business operational expenses and reduces them (e.g., power supply costs, etc.).
● Manages inventory levels through ordering, keeping stock, liquidating stock, anticipating fast-selling items and seasonal
changes, and processes timely the RTV for concession and outright.
● Improves profit margins through diversification and selling strategies such as up-selling, cross-selling, and creating long-
term deals or partnerships with customers.
● Recommends continuous improvement in systems and processes to the Area Manager and Corporate partners as
needed.
● Contributes to the annual planning and formulation of sales goals, operational targets, and improvement plans.
● Plans actions to be taken to achieve operational targets and sales quota (e.g., implementation of seasonal/quarterly
merchandise launch, in-store marketing promotion, etc.)
● Reports the sales and overall store business performance during monthly team and business reviews.
● Communicates the sales targets and measurements to the team to foster a well-informed and engaged workforce.
● Seeks and continuously develops comprehensive data on competitor activities, pricing, and tactics and communicates
these to the Area Manager and other relevant departments in the organization.
● Collaborates with Merchandising and Supply Chain to ensure stock availability and timely delivery to achieve sales
targets.
● Collaborates with other departments for sales-driven initiatives and programs (e.g., marketing for marketing-related
activities, ISO for Metro Business Cards (MBC) account management and development, E-commerce, etc.)
