Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Design Engineer -Mechanical!
The Design Engineer - Mechanical creates correct, safe and cost-effective designs for Mechanical Scope Requirements. He also ensures cross functional approval of design standards for the Mechanical Design Scopes.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
Effectively coordinates across all stakeholders the development and approval of all design standards related to mechanical work scopes based on construction specification and requirements, considering health, safety and environmental requirements.Interfaces with the project contractors, ensuring timely and cost effective tendering of approved mechanical scope packages.Perform mechanical design analysis and calculations according to project requirements, and recommends corrective actions for design issues.Determines installation cost and material estimates based on mechanical designs.Conducts site surveys and investigations to come up with required engineering drawings.Assists the Design Manager in managing committed timelines for the design scopes of assigned project, driving completion of project requirements.Incorporates various established safety and permit compliance strategies to the various mechanical work scopes being tendered and awarded.Prepares and provides necessary reports for proper monitoring of the progress of the project in terms of pre-project requirements, design, tendering and awarding.What are the Qualifications?
