Research and Development Engineering Officer (Pasig)

Makes product drawing and design for gas/electric range ovens and home appliance;Designs the process flow of the product develop intend for mass production;Conducts product evaluation and issue testing report;Makes sample product based on customer requirement;Issues design change application if necessary;Manages data and technical document management (Bill of Material, Drawing, etc.);Develops technical belongings for a new product through communication with the customer;Performs product development activities such as: market research and marketing information gathering with respect to product development, technical sales inquiries, warranty claims, technical seminars, and training to internal and external customers. Coordinate with marketing group about product requirements as necessary;Applies statistical methods and device level knowledge to provide performance analysis based on experimental results;Conducts and studies test time reduction and test issue resolution to drive testing quality and efficiency;Applies statistical methods and device level knowledge to provide performance analysis based on experimental results;Makes and adapts mechanical drawings related to manufacturing tools particular to process work station improvements, line automation and work station improvement upgrades;Performs highly diversified duties to develop, install and upgrade production station and machines in the manufacturing plant facility;Performs work station improvements, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, of production lines and machines;Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Knowledge of and ability to comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Other qualifications:

With good interpersonal skills and good communications to all levels of the organization;High level skills and knowledge in mechanical drawings in particular to sheet metal and assembly drawings. Use of CAD Software; Sold Works, Auto Cad, etc.;Preferably high level skills in mold design for product development;High level skills in Design for Manufacturing related to home appliance and cooking appliance;Well verse in DFMEA and PFMEA for manufacturing particular to home appliance, cooking appliance and as well as electronic products;High capabilities skills to develop mechanical process tooling, semi and full automation work stations from conceptual drawing, parts drawings and assembly drawings;Has the capabilities, skills and experience in development of manufacturing lines particular to conveyorize setup, pick and place machines and one-piece flow production line;High skills and knowledge in International Product Certifications in particular to CE, IEC, UL, SASO, etc. With background and experience in export product qualifications for gas/electric range oven and home appliance;Working knowledge of engineering statistics (GRR, SPC, Correlation, etc.);Data Analysis tools – JMP, Minitab, Excel.
