RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - PLASTIC PRODUCTS

 Employees in this position complete a variety of plastic product analyses, Production trial activities, and new product development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Focal person on new product development analysis and evaluation.Monitors new product development from production trial up to mass productionLead Production trial and coordinate with the production regarding new formulation form implementation and monitoring.Monitors production formulation, machine parameters, and quality of each product. Properly coordinate if there is any abnormality.Performs comparative analysis monitoring between the company’s plastic products and competitors’ products.Involve in new product developments and any modification that will have an impact on material engagement.Create special testing procedures for testing laboratories to execute the desired result.Analysis of material engagement through solid works simulationOn-time execution of Plans and programs, projects, and assignmentsAttainment of the department’s budget and cost savings.Create department Procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and quality records to comply ISO90001:2015 standards.Perform another task that may be assigned from time to time.Supports company activities such as SGA, 7S, and Quality Audit.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree BS Chemical Engineer, Material Science, Mechanical Engineer, or any related course.With at least 2 years of working experience.Analytical thinker and problem solver.Computer Literate, knowledgeable in SPC and simulation.Must be keen to details and good in oral and written skills.
