Team Head for Institutional Banking Group

Job Summary:Responsible for managing a team of Account Officers and Marketing Assistants to achieve objectives of the bank particularly in selling bank products to institutional clients with emphasis on loan growth and income generation.Other Responsibilities:evaluates and prepares the budget of the team in order to achieve the targets set by determining the accounts and/or new accounts. Likewise, monitors the performance of the team;evaluates the financial capacity of the client by way of conducting plant visits, researches, conducting bank and trade checking;Identifies the best credit facilities that will suit the requirements of the client;Discuss with the Division Head together with the AO and Credit Portfolio and Quality Assurance (for qualified accounts) the proposed credit package for new and existing clients;Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulations with respect to proper marketing, handling and documentation of loans and other bank products and services.Job Qualifications:A Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business or equivalent.With at least five (5) years experience in banking, working knowledge of credit underwriting and financial analysis.Knowledge and Skills required: Management, people management skills; Good Marketing and Interpersonal skills; Negotiation, presentation, business writing skills; Legal documentation.
