Responsibility/Accountability Statement

To provide support in terms of inventory monitoring for buyout motors which include reviewing stocks availability, coordinating, monitoring shipment, and expediting production schedule.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate and monitor Purchase Orders (as required by forecast and the production schedule) both from China plant and from Vendors.Communicate with Plant, Vendors and Stakeholders regarding tracking of open PO’s and coordinate with the Logistics team on orders and shipping requirements.Resolve on hold invoices issues by coordinating with Finance, Suppliers and Warehouses.Maintain Finished Good stocking attributes (such as Lead-times, Order Multiples, Safety Stocks, etc.) and ensure ERP systems are kept up to date.Review inventory levels by analyzing sales forecast, historical usage, and lead time to maintain a high level of product availability and optimum levels of inventory.Generate and maintain weekly (Open PO’s Report, Plant – Supplier OTD) reports to closely monitor the inventory position using Oracle, Discoverer, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and other database tools to analyze usage, inventory, and material availability.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Bachelors’ degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or closely related degreeMinimum of 2-3 years work experience in inventory management, manufacturing, or warehousingGood verbal and written communication.Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and warehousing processes.Proficiency in MS Office Tools. Advanced user of Excel.Experienced user of Enterprise Resource Planning and database applications. Preference to Oracle and/or Dynamics AXAmenable to work on graveyard shift.
