PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Responsibility/Accountability Statement

The Proposal Engineer will assists sales and marketing with technical review of NEMA frame and above NEMA frame industrial motor specifications. Provides timely and complete quotations to customers. Supports marketing with data collection for market analysis based on quotes and orders generated from quotes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive motor-related enquiries from sales engineers then read and analyze specifications.Prepare technical & commercial offers against client requirements, application and industry standardsPrepare estimated costs for marketingCompile individual tracking reports.Audit non-spec quotes and simple quotes with specifications.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 1 year experience in electrical engineeringExperience in motor applications such as pumps, compressors, etc is a plus.Familiarity with electrical motor application preferredAverage computer skills / MS Office applications at the minimum is required. Basic MS Excel user as a minimum.Good communication skillsAmenable to work on shifting schedules
