Data Warehouse Supervisor (Business Analytics and Research Analyst)

Major Function:Manage & closely monitor the performance of Cignal TV’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) through (1) coordination with key stakeholders such as IT and identified business units (customized data marts) and (2) effective data management/warehousing methodologies – aimed at ensuring data is accurately & securely stored and utilized for Business Intelligence and AnalyticsSpecific Duties & Responsibilities:1. Mainly responsible for looking at overall health status of Enterprise Data Warehouse of Cignal TV2. Create new data marts and continuously enhance existing data marts stored in Cignal TV’s Enterprise Data Warehouse3. Coordinates regularly with IT team on ensuring technical indicators are within the standards set by the business4. Data Governance framework must strictly be adhered to and updated on a regular basis (i.e monthly)5. Administer all Service Level Agreements and ensure business solutions & datamarts are maximized and working properly - Power BI dashboards6. Must work closely with Subscription Sales Strategy & Support Analyst and key stakeholders from other business units (Sales, Marketing, CEG, Finance, etc) for development of useful dashboardsPosition Qualifications:Degree-holder in any of the following 4-year courses: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, IT-related courses on Business Analytics or Data Management.Must have at least 3 to 5 years experience in handling big data warehouse and complex database developmentsMust be familiar with management of various relational databasesIn depth knowledge of data warehousing approaches, technical functionalities and underlying knowledge required to achieve these skillsExperience meeting with clients directly to understand business needs and discuss findingsCompetencies, Skills & Other specific requirements:Data warehousing using SQL Server 2016 and 2005/08 skills (updated competencies) includingAdvanced SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Advanced Excel skills, Advanced Database integration skills (SQL), Power Query, Power BIAdvanced skill in MS Office application such as Excel, Visual Basic, Power Point and other Office 365 appsAbility to think strategically to drive results across a number of complex projects with numerous interdependencies.Good skills in both oral and written presentation
