Cabin Crew

A. Job Objective

A cabin crew is a crew member, other than a flight crew member, responsible to the Pilot-in-command for the safety, maintenance of order and discipline in the passenger cabin, also to provide assistance to passengers, in the event of sickness accident or emergency.

B. Duties and Responsibilities

A cabin crew is expected to comply with the Company and government regulations.Maintains continuity throughout the cabin crew group, and to ensure that policies and regulations are adhered to by all.Attends a pre-flight briefing on-time.Carries our pre-flight duties including but not limited to checking of safety equipment, ensuring that information in the seat pockets are complete and up to date, and that all crew meals and stocks are on-board.Welcomes and assists passengers on-board.Demonstrates and informs passengers of the safety procedures and ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stowed.Ensures galley and lavatory are secured during take-off and landing.Makes announcement on behalf of the Pilot and answering passenger questions during the flight.Reassures passengers and ensures that they follow safety procedures correctly in emergency situation.Gives first aid to passengers when necessary.Ensures that passengers disembark safely at the end of the flight and checking that there is no luggage left in the stowage bin.Completes paper works including but not limited to flight report, passenger feedback, etc.Complies to the uniform and grooming Company Policy.Attends to all required trainings

C. Job Qualification

A.     A Cabin Crew member shall meet the following requirements:

Graduate of any course at two (2) years. Can reach 160 cm (overhead compartment)Good command of verbal and written in English, knowledge of additional language(s) is an advantage.Customer Service Oriented and able to relate to different types of Personality.Should possess professional character and in good physical condition.Problem solving skillsClear complexion and normal BMI.
