Team Lead / Sr. Civil Design Engineer

JOB DEscriptION:

Supervises a team of Civil Engineers and DesignersSupports the Line Director for the management of projects. (resources and task planning, manhour/time estimate, communication, etc)Forecasts work schedule, anticipates and warns of risks of low workload, seeks for additional tasks for the team membersProvides support in all design aspect specially in civil engineeringDoes civil engineering designs, compares civil engineering options, prepares technologies pro and cons technical solutions, not limited to earthworks, drainage and utilities, roads, etc.Does civil project specifications, basis of design, scope of work and cost estimatesStrictly ensures quality control is being followed and properly documented for all of the team deliverablesEnsures that all the needed references i.e. technical guidelines, work standards, etc. are properly filed and can be found in the libraryAnticipates and flags issues to Coordinator and Line DirectorSupports the Project Manager on individual assignments. (refers to previous similar projects, guides to find solutions, redirects to the person who can find solution for the technical concern)Ensures deliverables within the team, and coordinates with other Team Leaders & Team Coordinators for inter-team deliveryResponsible for the day to day project coordination with contact person/s, project optimization resource, optimization, team and individual performancesClose cooperation with the Line Director to ensure proper resource management across the company including Project Respective Point of ContactParticipates in the team strategy discussion, proposes, suggests, implements, improves, the actions required to achieve the agreed strategyPerforms other roles, duties and responsibilities directed by the management that support the organization's Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of Civil Engineering, with professional license and preferably has Master's DegreeAt least ten years of relevant experience in consulting engineering companiesMust have experience "all around" in civil works: grading and earthworks, stormwater and drainage, roads and utilitiesExperience in Civil 3D softwareExperience in designing manufacturing plants
