Electrical Engineer with experience in Design of manufacturing plant electrical systems

Job Description

Supervises a team of Electrical Engineers and MEP designersDoes electrical engineering design (electrical diagrams, plan layouts, schedules, etc…)Does electrical engineering calculations including but not limited to cable and equipment sizing, short circuit analysis, voltage drop computations.Does electrical project specifications, basis of design, scope of work and cost estimates.Does electrical engineering works, project proposals and time estimates.Provides designs through sketches or marks-up to incorporate in drawings / deliverables by Designers.Establishes scopes and budgets and execute tasks within those budgets.Coordinates work with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, etc.Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.Checks all deliverables (design drawings, documentation, etc.) prior to Team Lead verification.Checks all the incoming data provided by the Client. Makes an initial review and evaluates what files are needed but not included on the given information.Informs the Client about the output of the initial review thru email or any other form of communications such as Lync and/or Skype and ask for the additional files or information needed.Prepares time estimate for the coordination, document review, time to finish the task.Project the possible number of iterations of deliverables from preliminary to final submissions to be included in the preparation of time estimate.Performs other roles, duties and responsibilities directed by immediate superior that support the organization’s Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum: Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Ideal: with Professional License and has Master's DegreeMinimum of ten years work-related technical experienceExperience in designing manufacturing plants

COMPETENCIES

Working understanding of local and international codes and standards and experience in the consulting business carrying out electrical design, including low and medium voltage power, grounding, lighting, lightning protection, and other work-related matters.Can lead a electrical design team from Conceptual to Detail for a manufacturing plant.Must have experience in MV/LVOral and Written CommunicationAnalyticalETAPDialuxRevit MEP
