Senior Quantity Surveyor - MEPF

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of BS Mechanical EngineerMinimum of 7-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.Must know the following: ACAD or any estimating software, QTO and estimates, tendering, evaluation, and processing of contractor’s progress billing and variation orders, final account, and contract administration.Good oral and written communication skills.Willing to be assigned to LagunaTo start immediately.

Sr. QS Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Accountable for preparing realistic, adaptable, and accurate initial budget estimates and cash flow projections.Conducts quantity take-off and estimate on the various stages of the project including but not limited to:Square Cost Estimate;Schematic Design Estimate;Conceptual Design Estimate;Design Development Estimate;Definitive Office Estimate;Detailed Bill of Quantities; andValue Engineering.Responsible for the preparation of the MPF bid evaluation report.Assists in the preparation of MPF bid packages and other bid documents needed in the bidding process.Assists in the preparation of financial analysis and projections, construction agreements, and other project MPF reports.Represents the organization in bid conferences and other project meetings on MPF aspects.Transacts with contractors on behalf of the organization, reviewing and evaluating the contractor's project offer for MPF works.Prepares the needed related documents in any project meetings.Prepares any MPF change order evaluation and construction claims.Ensures that all relevant Work Instructions and the organization’s Quality Management System are followed and applied in all works undertaken.Ensures that all deliverables and submissions are checked and reviewed by the concerned department heads prior to release.Works collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to ensure the highest standards of services to clients.Attends team meetings and contributes relevant ideas.Upholds standards by adhering to all company policies and procedures.Exemplifies qualities that encourage staff loyalty, teamwork, and dedication to the organization.Any other work or tasks as directed by the Assistant Quantity Surveying Manager-MPF/ Quantity Surveying Manager-MPF/ Senior Quantity Surveying Manager - MPF.-
