Civil/ Structural Design Engineer

Qualifications/Skills Required:1.Licensed Civil or Sanitary Engineer2.With at least 2 years in the field of design.3.Experience in water or wastewater is an advantage.4.Can work under pressure.5.Advanced Skills in various Computer Aided Design, Visualization, Project Planning and documentation softwares6.Highly Organized7.Advanced administrative skills8.Analytical Thinker Job Description:1.Report and take job orders from the Design Manager. 2. Coordinate with the other members of the Planning and Design Group3. Understand what the principal designer’s specifications & the client’s needs. 4.Conduct size data gathering and inspections during the design development and contract document phases or whenever necessary for accuracy of drawings in relation to the project site.5.Produce documents such as construction drawings, methodologies, schedules, fabrication drawings, calculations etc. to satisfy the requirements of a project. 6.Inspect the site for issues that might affect the future implementation of the design. 7.Prepare and constantly review plans, construction drawings, cost estimates and specifications before actual construction begins. 8.Ensure that all the drawings are compliant with the law, building codes and the company’s standards. 9.Provide assistance and work with the Planning and Design Group. 10.Other work as deemed necessary by the Design Manager. 11. To maintain and develop good and harmonious working relationship with colleagues. 12. To be able to recommend and submit ideas and suggestions for the improvement of your area of responsibility. 13.Understand and compliance with BIPI Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
