Process Design Engineer (Licensed Chemical Engineer)

Qualifications:

Licensed CHEMICAL ENGINEERWith at least 2 years experience in the field of design.Familiarity in water or wastewater is an advantage.Experience in project planning is a plus.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Critical thinker, good in decision making and ability to solve problems.Result oriented.Knowledgeable in MS Project and CAD

Duties and Responsibilities:

Correctly identify the specific needs of the customer and select appropriate technologies;Plan and specify new treatment plants, taking into account available technology, market needs, cost of equipment and disposal of waste substancesCarry out the design of various projects for water and wastewater treatment plant as assigned, and prepare the required calculations such as process design calculations, material balance calculation, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing and component selection, as well as chemical and power consumption calculationsPrepare the design criteria according to the requirements;Prepare the proposal’s process description defining the treatment chainPrepare the material balance diagram, process flow diagram and area plan if necessaryConduct Technical and Methodology presentations as per client’s requirementProvide project support, peer reviews and technical direction for other engineering staffProvide guidance to Service Engineers in Testing, Commissioning and Process Proving as well as troubleshooting of treatment plants

General Duties Section

Communicate with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates- provide technical advice reports on design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs.Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with other project engineers, QMD representatives administrative and support staff regarding work issues, activities, schedules and progress. To maintain and develop good and harmonious working relationship with colleagues.To be able to recommend and submit ideas and suggestions for the improvement of your area of responsibility.Strict compliance and observance of the Code of Personnel Conduct and Behavior, Company Policies and our Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).Perform any other job/activities related to the assigned responsibility as required and deemed necessary by management.-
