Project Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an Internal Project Management role within a software development company where the team comprises software design engineers, business analysts and quality assurance.Primary point of contact for the client, while being supported by other team members.Manages the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and Works with the project team (developers and quality assurance) to identify risks and develop strategies to minimize or prevent impact.Ensure compliance to existing processes and work with the project team on process improvements.Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.  Provide guidance and mentoring to team members.Plan bi-weekly sprints.Day-shift work schedule

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.At least 3 Years of working experience as a Project Manager.Experience in working with business analysts who are responsible for analysis, data gathering and documentation.Preferred (not required) Skill(s): PMI, PRINCE2Familiarization with Agile development an advantagePreferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
