Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Work with clients to understand, define and document requirements for a software development project.Collect, understand, and transmit the business requirements and user requirements for the project; translate these into functional requirements.Able to independently interface with client to elicit requirements.Analyze and document business processes.document workflows and results of business analysis to obtain sign-off from clients on the specifications.Provide the link between the customer, development, test team, and any third-party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.Day to day assistance in the management of change requests in relation to the project or product requirements specifications.Produce weekly reports for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.Day shift work schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years work experience related to this role (business/systems analyst).Knowledgeable in Systems Development Life Cycle, Requirements Elicitation, process flow and systems documentation and business modeling methods.Experience with different industries, preferably in a software development company, would be an advantage.Ability to manage work independently or in a team environment.Ability to independently manage spreadsheet and presentation software, including advanced formulas/commands to analyze and interpret client data and produce final documentationExperience in working with international and local colleagues and clients.Strong communication skills; both written and spokenMust be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science (or any related field) or Business Management (or any related field)
