SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development of new software products and componentsProducing high quality, tested and maintainable code, using the best technologies for the problem at handInvestigation and resolution of issues reported by internal and external customers.Foster and promote best practices on PHP, PHP frameworks and other tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong knowledge in PHP development and ideally Symfony framework.Candidates with proficiency in other frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter are welcome to apply.Solid Linux knowledge including LAMP stack setup and configuration.Strong background in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Experience in software versioning (Git, Gitlab).Experience building and integrating APIs and data feeds in real-time environmentsKnowledge of Cloud Architecture and CDN technologies such as AWS, Akamai, CloudFront is an advantage.Solid fundamentals of system architectureSolid CS fundamentals (data structures and algorithms, resiliency and redundancy)Solid Software Engineering skills (problem solving, software and code architecture, testing).

NICE TO HAVE:

Knowledge of other back-end technologies (Node.js, Kotlin / Spring Boot)Knowledge of front-end technologies (Javascript, CSS, ReactJS)Knowledge of containers (Docker)Possess Redis experience.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash)
