SOE Engineer (Windows)

Candidate must have working knowledge on the following: Windows 10/11 management through enterprise management tools such as MECM/Intune/Group Policies for workspace management.

Key Accountabilities

Maintain the managed End User Computing environment for Fujitsu CustomersMaintenance includes: The scripted OS installation model; imaging model; managed application deployment model; inventory, reporting, Group Policy configuration and maintenance and upgrades.3rd level support, resolution & monitoringPerform, lead & review implementation activities from technical designs to meet project or service delivery requirementsWork as an SOE subject matter expert, and resource on assigned projectsDesign and solution work as delegated by SOE ArchitectResolve routine, ad-hoc & complex customer enquiries, ensuring established processes/systems are followedEscalate issues to relevant team(s) or person(s) as necessary, to deliver requirements and to expectationsOwnership and accountability of all issues within the managed End User Computing environment, through to resolutionFacilitate, support or lead complex component and application deploymentsCreate, maintain and contribute to documentation & knowledge articlesPerform and review output from routine health checks on customer environmentsProvide guidance and support to other teams, peers or customersMentoring of Associate & SOE Engineer staffDevelop a strong understanding of the customer environment, and service delivery requirementsProvide a level of leadership / consulting to Fujitsu Customers in relation to EUS environments

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum of 2 years managing and supporting End User Computing environmentsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in SOE support, maintenance and implementationAdvanced software, hardware and environmental troubleshooting abilityAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Windows family of End User Computing Operating Systems and applicationsStrong experience administering Active Directory and Group PolicyStrong experience with enterprise deployment and management tools (ie; MECM)Experience with facilitating complex and enterprise scale software deploymentsAdvanced working knowledge/understanding of Microsoft unattended deployment methodologies for the Microsoft Windows familyStrong scripting ability (PowerShell, VBscript, Batch, TSQL)Working Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processesExcellent documentation skills, for user training and technical documents
