Job Description

Lead the creation of (English-Filipino/Taglish) translation guidelines and the glossary that will be used to guide the actual translation of termsReview large volumes of the translated app text (en masse) and select the recommended translation based on the guidelinesComplete the screening quota within the given time frameEnsure that the translators provide translated files on timeProvide translations based on the guidelines for content within the scope of the initial app translationProvide translations for other ad hoc content that appears within Shopee platforms

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education (major in English or Filipino), or related fieldsMust be a native Filipino language speaker, fluent in both English and FilipinoExemplary command of Filipino grammar and vocabularyMust be a native Filipino language speakerWith previous experience in English-to-Filipino translation or Filipino language instructionLanguage proficiency certification (ACTFL OPI) is a plusAble to work independently and in a team
