Job Summary

Facilities Associate is primarily responsible in performing the execution of day-to-day facility and equipment maintenance activities

Duties and Responsiblities

Responsible for carry out preventative maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systemsRepair faulty air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and PlantEnsure the timely tuning on/off of the air conditioning systemsOn a daily basis closely monitor the cooling levels to ensure that cooling levels are adequateEnsure routine checks and servicing are carried out on the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and complete the requisite status logsTroubleshoot air conditioning/refrigeration equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on equipment. Complete logs detailing works carried out inclusive of parts utilizedMake recommendations to replace equipment, if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.Perform regular cleaning of all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, inclusive of ventsManage the safety of the air conditioning plant rooms and associated areas.Responsible for developing and creating ways to better monitor the cooling level of each room, to ensure that all room cooling is maintained at the specific level required.Responsible for the verification of refrigeration and air conditioning spares purchased/supplied and ensure that they are securely stored on the company’s premises.Handles requisition request for materials required for the smooth operation of the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and ensure adequate materials are ordered avoiding excessive wastage.Create and maintain an ongoing inventory showing the number of air conditioning units, ice machines and other refrigeration equipment and their locationCollect data for reports.Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management

Job Specifications

Graduate of any 4-year/2-year course. Holder of Associate Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Technology or Vocational/Technical Course in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning / ElectromechanicalMinimum of 1 year’ experience in Facilities and Machineries Maintenance preferably in cold storages or equivalentWith Electrical background an advantage.-
