Bank Reconciliation and Payment Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities:

Bank Payments

Processing of online bank payments and transfersProcessing of journals for daily bank transactionsCompletion of month end bank reconciliationsInvestigation of any unidentified cash entries as they appear on bank statements

General/Other

Provide information for regular Sarbanes Oxley and audit reviews as requiredResponding appropriately to ad-hoc business requests 

Qualifications/Education Required  

Accounting degree

Skills/Knowledge Required 

online bank payments processing and related accounting experienceExperience of commercial internet-based banking systemsMinimum 1-3 years related experienceKnowledge of double entry and reconciliation skills                  Excellent numeracy and literacy skillsAccuracy & attention to detail             Able to work and problem solve independentlyAble to plan and prioritize own time and task completion based on defined timelines/deadlinesAbsolute confidentiality and commitment     Experience of Accounting Systems, Excel and Word
