ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basic understanding and experience planning to perform an auditKnowledge of internal accounting controls and professional standards and regulations (GAAP and GAAS)Apply accounting principles and auditing procedures to client engagements, and prepare work papersAudit transaction cycles, including cash, purchasing, investments, capital expenditures, and other income and expensesGain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagementsResearch and analyze financial statements and audit issues, and employ audit software to review and compile financial information to resolve client issues discovered during the auditWorking closely with staff, managers, and partners on all phases of the projectWorking experience in accounting firm

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting firmCPA license will be an advantage but not requiredProficient in MS Office applicationsExcellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS rules and standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.Willing to observe US Pacific time working hours
